PopSim – DRA symposium and workshops: Population PKPD modelling

Thursday 15 June – Friday 16 June 2023

The PopSim board and Drug Research Academy (DRA), under the University of Copenhagen host two workshops and a symposium around the implementation and application of population PKPD modelling in clinical research. We want to attract a broad audience to this meeting, so the program is tailored to both newcomers (for example master students, PhD students, clinicians and other researchers without modelling expertise) as well as established pharmacometricians. On the first day, we have an introduction to PKPD modelling for newcomers in the field. On the second day, we have a symposium in the morning with lectures on PBPK of large molecules, Clinical applications of PKPD modelling and PKPD modelling in the industrial setting and in the afternoon an advanced modelling workshop in nlmixr2. The advanced workshop can be attended after attending the beginner’s workshop, or it can be attended stand-alone for participants already familiar with pharmacometrics.

As this is a hands-on-workshop, participants will be required to bring a laptop and install R and nlmixr2 https://nlmixr2.org/ prior to the workshop.
